Amy MacPherson Karen Gurney
The Teaching and Learning Center offers technology and pedagogy workshops throughout the year. Workshops include sessions involving different aspects of best pedagogical practices, integration of technology in pedagogy, R25, critical thinking sessions, MS Office applications, Web 2.0 application, Google applications, most of the MCCD proprietary systems, i.e. CFS, HRMS, Time & Labor, SIS for Faculty, and more.
Why learn and use the best pedagogical practices and integrate technology into your teaching? Watch and listen to The Future of Learning: How Technology is Transforming Public Schools.

The Teaching and Learning Center provides assistance to faculty and staff in improving assessment & instructional practices, introducing technologies that can be used to improve learning, disseminating current and future trends in pedagogical practices, assessing technology training needs and providing hands on instruction and assistance.
The TLC provides individualized support of faculty and staff members. We provide assistance through email, phone and in person.
“We have a handout for that!” The TLC staff have developed, and continue to develop, many “how-to handouts” to solve specific problems, special needs or questions arising regarding v our software programs. In addition, the staff looks for technology tips that can be helpful to faculty and staff. These are sent out via email as “TLC Tips.”
