PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

As alumni, friends and donors of South Mountain Community College, you have traditionally played an important role in not only the success of our students, but in our relationship with the thousands of area residents and families in the South Mountain community and greater Phoenix area.

South Mountain Community College serves a broad and diverse student body, now more than 10,000 students strong.  Every year, we have been able to offer new classes and expanded programs for our students and residents in the South Mountain community and beyond. Our offerings appeal to every age and every interest. If you haven't been involved with the college in recent years, we encourage you to take a continuing education or non-credit class, come enjoy a performance in our Performance Hall or come cheer for one of our outstanding sport teams.

As an alumnus, you are our voice in the community, spreading the word about our college and its vision: to educate minds, transform lives, touch hearts and build community. We invite you to become involved in the SMCC Alumni Association. Membership is a way to maintain those special friendships you formed at SMCC, to develop leadership skills and to support college programs and athletics. Follow this link to our Alumni Association web page to explore the possibilities!

As a donor and friend, SMCC appreciates your support. Whether you have contributed through scholarships, assistance to our athletic programs, contributions to our academic programs, or simply the gift of your time, we salute you! Your gifts provide the means for many of our students to obtain a degree and pursue their dreams.

If you are interested in contributing to an already established scholarship fund or setting up a new scholarship, please use the link to "Donors" on the right side of this page.

Friends contributing time are always an invaluable asset to our community college. Mentors and student success coaches are always needed. Follow the link to "Friends" for a list of student success coaches and mentoring possibilities.

Thank you for your active care and concern for our college students. We appreciate what you have done for SMCC in the past and look forward to working with you in the future. We extend to you an open invitation to visit our college---we welcome the opportunity to share with you all that is new and exciting on the campus of South Mountain Community College!
